1850 ATC practice Tyranids vs 5 Knights

Alright, here we go! I technically have broken my "BatRep a day" pledge because it's after midnight, but here we go! This is my 7th game of 7th edition, which means it should be fun! And so it is. For the ATC, I am the Captain of one of two teams coming out of Orlando, the Orlando Hereticus. So, I am playing my fellow captain of the second OH team! And, he's bringing an Imperial Knight army... fun for all!

And here we are, my sixth Battle Report of 7th edition! After some early losses, I've turned it around a bit and won my last three games buy wide margins. So, I'm playing against Tau again! In preparation for the ATC, I need to play against lists that will be challenging for me... such as Tau. Frankly, I think Tau have replaced Dark Eldar as the worst match-up for Tyranids.

Wow, how did that happen? Today, June 26th, is exactly two years after I first created this blog.

Here we go, my fifth Battle Report of 7th edition! Here I play against a local who will be going to the ATC as a member of a rival team. We are good friends however, and played often throughout 6th and 7th edition, so didn't mind sharing our lists with eachother. (Plus, I'm posting these online, so I guess they're not very secret!)

Ok, day 4 of my week of Battle Reports! I challenged my opponent from my previous game to a rematch, using his Astra Militarum. This time, he knew my list in advance and knew what was and was not effective against me.

Ok, day 3 of my week of Battle Reports! Here we have my first game against the new and Latin-ish Imperial Guard, the Astra Militarum! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but I will attempt to give as much detail as possible. Note that this is my opponent's first game of 7th edition, and although he is a very good, experienced player, his list is more experimental and not fully tournament worthy perhaps.

Alright! I'm trying to keep on track with one Battle Report a day, until I get all of these done... so, here's BatRep number 2! This is against the same opponent as my first game of seventh edition, and will feature some similar army lists. Of course, since last game went poorly I am going to try and change up my strategy. Let the games begin!
